More about L3

The Listen, Learn, Lead (L3) project was initiated by Danika Gordon, with guidance from South Dakota State University Extension Regional 4-H Youth Program Advisor Hilary Risner. Gordon, who is a freshman at South Dakota State University, is a ten-year 4-H member and a previous State 4-H Ambassador. Throughout her 4-H experiences, Gordon has strived to share positive messages about being caring, respectful, fair, responsible, trustworthy and a good citizen with others. She has authored three books for elementary students with a focus on kindness and dreaming big. Gordon hopes the L3 series will create new opportunities for more youth to hear meaningful messages and ideas  - and in turn, prompt thoughtful conversations and actions among youth for the future.

The 4-H Pledge
